SAAM

SAAM is an online hub with a set of simple tools and practical resources to help Australian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) capitalise on the benefits of AI while minimising their exposure to legal, reputational or commercial risks. Through our online tools, user-friendly guides and a live help desk, we'll help Australian SMEs identify potential risks with the AI solutions they're interested in adopting, and guide them through suggested steps to manage these risks. SAAM is designed with SMEs in mind, and is simple to use, easy to understand, pragmatic, quick and free. We are currently engaging Australian SMEs to better understand the challenges they face adopting AI. Tools and resources for SMEs are expected to be launched later in 2025. SAAM - which stands for stands for Safe AI Adoption Model - is funded by the Australian Government Department of Industry, Science and Resources through the AI Adopt program. It is delivered by a consortium led by specialist consultancy elevenM, in partnership with the UTS Human Technology Institute, Atlassian, Microsoft, KPMG, ACS (Australian Computer Society) and TDC Global.
