This is a facebook page set up to provide structural engineering advice, for free, to people who otherwise may do some very silly things to their homes. so far the site has around 4000 followers and has a daily reach of around 1000 people. we've provided design assistance on projects around the world from a 24 storey building in Dubai where the site engineer couldn't read the rebar drawings and was too scared to ask his boss, to a very out of plumb house in Ghana where the contractor had built all of the walls very off vertical and the client simply wanted to know if this was normal.
