Ask Your Senior (AYS) is a credibility-first, student-led mentorship platform that connects students planning to study abroad (Juniors) with students already studying in their destination countries (Seniors) for honest, 1-on-1 online conversations. Unlike consultancies or academic advisors, AYS doesn’t provide application support, visa help, or SOP reviews. Instead, it fills a crucial gap: helping students understand the real-life, day-to-day experience of living abroad — from managing public transport and food costs to handling culture shock and finding community. Built on a transparent credibility score and badge system, AYS ensures that every Senior is verified, rated, and relatable. The platform is powered by a volunteer-driven backend and a non-commercial spirit, designed to empower students with clarity, confidence, and community through their lived experiences. Not advice.
