My name is John Asplin. I've worked in various IT roles for the past 20 years. My experiences have been varied but mainly formed by the small business environment surrounding me. I've experienced in depth how business operates in more than one business sector and the importance of using IT especially in the early stages where people and funds are in short supply. I've helped start companies and provided technical services using bespoke and open source software that would otherwise be beyond their budgets.
