Astronomical Society of RIT

ASRIT or Astronomical Society of RIT is a club working under the ISTE Chapter of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kottayam campus aimed at promoting awareness and exposure to the students on Space Science and Technology. Founded in 2018, we are committed to the cause of spreading knowledge and fostering all-round development of the student community in this field. With a continued emphasis on the development of the fellow students' passion, we aim at providing them with a better career path and research-oriented professionals to society. Events conducted include seminars on Astronomy & Developments in Space technologies, Quizzes, Innovation Contests, Skywatching and other related Workshops, Expert Talks, etc. We always welcome effective suggestions, ideas & innovations related to this arena and help us in the development of a skilful youth.
