Autumn School Series in Acoustics

Autumn School Series in Acoustics (ASSA) is a yearly-returning one-week school on a post-graduate Ph.D. level held at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). The school contains various topics related to the fundamentals of sound and its applications and methods for sound to the built environment (ranging from environmental noise in cities to concert-hall acoustics), with lecturers from various research institutes. The topics of the school change in a two-year cycle and every year there are two parallel schools in the same week. The school has the character to be a high-quality yearly returning event with the same structure and layout, where young research get trained and moreover have the opportunity to enlarge their network by meeting fellow young researchers.
