The Australian Society of Sugar Cane Technologists Limited (ASSCT) is a leading technical society which provides a forum for scientists, engineers, chemists, institutions, farmers, companies and individuals interested in sugar cane technology to publish and discuss current developments as well researching recorded technology. The ASSCT enjoys the world-wide reputation of premier repository for the public domain technology of the Australian Sugar Industry.
The ASSCT conducts an annual Conference with peer-refereed technical papers and posters to introduce current RD&E projects and industry practices and to promote discussions of all aspects of sugar cane and cane sugar technology. The Conference venue rotates among the sugar cities in Queensland and northern New South Wales and attracts delegates from Australia and overseas. In addition to the technical sessions, a comprehensive partners’ program, technical site visits and excursions together with social highlights are always included in the program.
