ASSERTED KNOWLEDGE (AKNOW) is a technical consulting and staff sourcing company providing specialized ICT services and staff to organizations. Since 2014 we bridge the gap between the commercial and R&D ecosystems by bringing diverse solutions to the market in areas of scientific and social interest. Our main functions consist of: 1. Technical Consulting & Training: Business requirements analysis and transcription to technical specifications for the implementation of applications and tools, agile project management and establishment of continuous improvement processes for our customers. 2. Research & Development: Applied research on the uses of emerging technologies and tools in all forms of E&T, accompanied by the design and development of knowledge awareness tools. 3. Staff Sourcing: Identification & recruitment of highly skilled individuals on behalf of customers comprising major ICT integrators and public services across the EU, training on Agile methodologies, technologies and tools, and creation of competent project teams for tenders/bids or operational projects. During the last 6 years, ASSERTED has been engaged in a large number of highly diversified commercial and public projects in the wider area of ICT-enabled Education & Training. We design and develop solutions based on single board computers for training on STEM, IoT, and coding. We research the impact of the constantly increasing screen time in our lives and we design solutions for moderation the use of screens.
