Association GENIES

"GENIES, or GENeration of Impact and Excellence in Science and Technology," is a globally diversified association founded primarily by scientific engineers from Togo. Established in 2025, GENIES aims to enhance scientific influence in sub-Saharan African countries by strengthening educational capacities, particularly in science and technology, within engineering schools in emerging and developing nations across the region. While economic and social development in these countries requires investment in infrastructure and public equipment, it is equally essential to ensure that the current and future generations are well-trained in utilizing these resources. GENIES will promote inclusive socio-economic development with a strong focus on applied research, sustainable innovation, and technological entrepreneurship. GENIES' vision is firmly rooted in promoting and developing innovative technological solutions that address the unique challenges faced by emerging countries in sub-Saharan Africa, beginning with Togo. Although international in scope, the association is based in France.
