Associations in Motion

Associations in motion is a global alliance among automotive aftermarket trade association to debate on trends and advocate on common interests. It was born from conversations between Auto Care Association (USA) and AICA, the Italian Garage Equipment Manufacturers Association (Italy): the uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic revived the idea of a global conference on car-repair to engage trade associations in debating issues and trends in USA and Europe, with the opportunity to broaden the perspective including other associations and target markets. Associations in Motion kicked off as a conference held in 2021 in hybrid format and has become an annual event within AAPEX and Autopromotec, Auto Care Association and AICA trade shows, respectively. Mobility is a broad field in constant transformation; therefore, Association in Motion is an open and ongoing project, happy to host new associations and stakeholders and to replicate the format in other continents and target markets, with the ambition of creating a global think tank to circulate ideas, information, know-how and mutual support.
