ASSURE SI Project

ASSURE - A Sustainable conStrUction foR Ethiopia Integrating Local Resources for Affordable, Resilient and Sustainable Housing ASSURE is a Short Initiative (SI) project supported by Flemish Interuniversity Council (VLIR) through Five-Year Programme 2022-2027 (FYP2) VLIR-UOS. In ASSURE project, the partnership between the Faculty of Engineering Technology of Hasselt University (Belgium) and Jimma Institute of Technology of Jimma University (Ethiopia) will conduct research to explore the use of alternative resources, in the production of construction materials, and develop innovative combinations of materials, for the efficient construction of affordable, resilient and sustainable houses.
