AST started as an engineering office for solar units to heat swimming pools in 1986. In 1997, AST was incorporated in Reutte Holding, which enabled AST to advance to a position as market leader in the field of professional permanent und movable ice rinks. The capability of AST is characterised by comprehensive engineering and production capacity certified according to ISO 9001, a solid financial basis and an outspoken environmental commitment certified according to ISO14001. As expert in cooling solutions, AST also provides snow cooling solutions for ski sport, and has equipped most ski jump stadiums in central Europe with snow cooling systems. AST´s competence and professionalism is testified by some 2600 projects in 40 countries that have been realized over the last 10 years.
