A*StartCentral

A*StartCentral (A*SC) is a first-of-its-kind open innovation platform by the Agency for Science Technology and Research (A*STAR). We incubate, accelerate and venture build deep-tech startups. A*SC foster cross-pollination and interaction amongst founders, researchers, corporates, startups, investors and entrepreneurs across diverse disciplines. Founders-centric, A*SC supports researcher-entrepreneurs through their deep-tech startup journey. The flywheel of support includes entrepreneurship programmes, market access, ecosystem engagement and infrastructure. The latter includes co-working space, wet labs and engineering workshop. Launched in Sep 2016, A*SC has incubated A*STAR spinoffs, and Singapore-based startups. Many of which successfully fundraised and expanded globally.
