ASTIER NY is a contemporary women's RTW collection founded in 2012. The Creative Director of the company, Jackie Astier is a fashion director and stylist who has been recognized for her keen sense of style. Raised in New York, Jackie fed her fashion hunger by studying at FIT, Parsons and Esmod in Paris, where she explored a range of disciplines from merchandising to fashion design. She began her career styling as an assistant to Muriel Brandolini, contributing to countless French and Italian Vogue shoots. Following her time with Muriel, Jackie continued to freelance as a stylist for publications including British Vogue, Marie Claire, and W. She also furthered her career as a stylist by working with numerous celebrities. Jackie later joined New York’s Avenue Magazine as Fashion Director. During her time with the publication she was integral in transforming the 30-year-old social book into a modern monthly. Over the past few years Jackie has continued to contribute to numerous fashion and design publications. As a well-established and influential member of the fashion elite, Jackie has garnered the respect of her industry. After years behind the scenes, Jackie decided to culminate her creative energy and passion for design into a women's ready to wear clothing line that speaks for her varied style aesthetics.
