Located in the expanding Greek International Airport of Thessaloniki “Makedonia”, Astra Airlines first flew in summer 2008, aiming to reach the highest quality level of air services.
After having gone through thorough tests and successfully proving the excellent organization of our company in all levels – Flight Operations, Technical Maintenance and Ground Operations - we were awarded the European Community Certificate for Air Operators, AOC, adhering strictly to the JAA/EASA Safety Rules and Conditions.
Astra Airlines employs fully trained and very experienced Cockpit and Cabin Crew members, undergoing continuous recurrent training thus maintaining the highest standard of excellence.
We have invested in a strict quality control system so as to ensure the maximum safety for our flights and we constantly check the quality of our services after being certified for all our departments, such as Flight Operations Dept, Maintenance Dept, Ground Operations Dept., etc.
We also cater for Incentive Flights, Sporting Events, Trade Fairs, Music – Cultural Events, Social Events, Inclusive IT groups, Pilgrim and Student Flights.
We give Tours Operators, Travel Agents, Airlines and Air Brokers the opportunity to charter in significantly competitive prices, with a seating capacity of up to 112 passengers and with a variety of Greek and European destinations.
