Astral Training was launched in December 2011 primarily as a Health & Social Care training provider, covering the East Midlands, West Midlands, North West and South Yorkshire. Already we have trained over 270 Health & Social Care professionals through the Apprenticeship programme! Following on this success we have extended our offer to include Apprenticeships in Customer Service, Business Administration, Team Leading and Management. Astral initially focused on training learners of all ages who currently work in their chosen sector. We have now broadened our offer to include a 100% free recruitment service to employers, placing young people with a burning interest not only within Health & Social Care, but also in any business that requires Business Administration, Customer Services and even Team Leaders. Our Programmes for the Unemployed division offers training to those who are long term unemployed, from English, Maths and ICT through to sector specfic pathways into work, such as our recently launched L1 Health & Social Care programme. Building confidence and realising the potential of our clients, as well as helping them with CV writing and job search. Functional Skills in both Maths and English from Entry level to Level 2 for 19+ age group Traineeships, which can offer young people that first chance on the career ladder by working with them and giving them Employability skills and boosting confidence as well as having a quality work experience placement
