Established in February 2006, the Advanced Sewage Treatment and Research Centre for Excellence (ASTRICE) is strategically located within the Sg. Besi Regional Sewage Treatment Works in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. As a premier training hub under Indah Water Konsortium, ASTRICE plays a vital role in advancing technical capacity and professional development in Malaysia’s wastewater industry. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, ASTRICE offers a unique training environment that combines classroom-based instruction with real-world, hands-on experience in sewerage system operations. Its comprehensive programmes are designed to equip participants with the practical knowledge and technical skills required to meet the growing demands of wastewater management.
