ASTRO is a project from the Aerospace Division, known as NuAr, from NOVA School of Science and Technology. We are currently developing and preparing our first rocket, Tagus, to compete in the European Rocketry Challenge, EuRoC, in the COTS solid propulsion system and target apogee of 3,000 m category, S3-C.
Our goal is not only to successfully launch a rocket, but also to foster hands-on aerospace engineering experience in Portugal. Through this initiative, we also aim to inspire and engage with university students, bringing more visibility and enthusiasm to aerospace-related fields in academic environments.
