ASW TEA HOUSE 位於全台灣第一間西藥房-大稻埕屈臣氏大藥房2-3樓。屈臣氏大藥房由李俊啟先生於1917年興建。
李俊啟先生年輕時在員林開設「德壽堂」，從事藥材生意。數年後，李俊啟先生轉往台北大稻埕並取得香港屈臣氏在台灣地區的代理權，於1917年在台北市迪化街開設「屈臣氏大藥房」，以批發進口西藥為主，是為台灣第一間西藥房。
茶館之所以取名 ASW，是因為經營團隊三月半有限公司認為這間茶館應與建築歷史接氣，故取屈臣氏大藥房英文 A.S. WATSON & Co. 之字首為茶館名稱，空間規劃也以英式風格結合圖書館為概念，為大稻埕提供一個精緻而穩重的飲食文化體驗空間。
茶葉曾是大稻埕最重要的出口商品，紅茶更是一度佔最大宗，世界各地茶商均在此活動，大稻埕當時無疑是台灣人為主的街區中最國際化也最新潮的地方。因此 ASW 選茶也承接著這份歷史脈絡以台灣各地優質紅茶與重發酵烏龍為主，茶單上亦清楚註記產地、農法、檢驗方式等訊息，餐點也與花東菜市集合作，以優良小農產品入餐，在典雅的英式空間中引入台灣風味。
ASW 希望透過大稻埕這個極具歷史意義的國際窗口，再次和世界分享台灣美好的風土。

ASW Tea House is located in Dadaocheng, on the 2nd floor of A.S. Watson & Co. This historic building was bulit by the Lee family in 1917. It was the highest building in Dadaocheng and the first chemist's shop in Taiwan.
Dadaocheng was an important trading port during the 19th century and the mid 20th century, and is still a major historical tourist attraction and shopping area. Tea was the most exported item then. “Formosa Oolong” and “Formosa Black Tea” shipped worldwide via Tamsui River.
Base on historical background of Dadaocheng, ASW focuses on discovering the finest black tea and highly oxidized Oolong tea on this island, then presenting it to international tourists and young generation of Taiwan.
