Atacama Sunlight was founded with the mission to contribute to the decarbonization of the Chilean National Grid through the identification and development of photovoltaic projects. We aim to become an originator of photovoltaic projects and to be consider the partner of choice for developers and operators to acquire new projects.
Our flagship project, Varas Sunlight (http://www.varassunlight.cl/), is located 64 Km northeast of the city of Copiapó, in the Atacama region. It has been designed to generate 100 MW. Additionally, we own a pipeline of projects currently on preliminary environmental and connectivity evaluations.
As part of our strategy, we are evaluating different alternatives to complement our solar projects with the production of green hydrogen.
