The Association for Talent Development (ATD), formerly ASTD, is the world’s largest association dedicated to those who develop talent in organizations. The Nebraska Chapter of the Association of Talent Development (ATD Nebraska) Our mission is to enhance members’ abilities, to develop talent and support clients and organizations in our local and global communities. We have an Executive Board consisting of 8 members and many directors and committee members to help make ATD Nebraska the preferred leader in workplace learning and performance. The chapter brings workshops, tools, resources and the network needed to enhance members' abilities to train, develop and support clients, organizations, and our local and global communities. ATD National is a professional membership organization supporting those who develop the knowledge and skills of employees in organizations around the world. ATD's members come from more than 100 countries and connect locally in almost 140 U.S. chapters and 25 Global Networks. Members work in thousands of organizations of all sizes, in government, as independent consultants, and suppliers. Both ATD Nebraska and ATD National are resources for your personal and professional growth. Through these organizations, you can find almost any resource you may need -- workshops, books and materials, Special Interest Groups (SIGs), magazines and articles about our industry, career resources, membership directories, newsletters and this website. HISTORY ATD Nebraska received its charter from ATD National on January 21, 1959 and had 26 members from over 20 companies in the Omaha area.
