The Association Transparence et Développement (ATED) is a national NGO founded in 2005 and recognised by the State in 2006 (receipt N°211 of 26/06/2006). It is a non-profit organisation, neutral with regard to partisan politics, religion and gender. It pursues several essential objectives: Good Governance (Promotion of Transparency and Fight against Corruption); Protection and Promotion of Human Rights (Human Rights Education, Surveillance, Monitoring, Assistance, Alternative Reports...), and Development (Citizen Participation, Capacity Building of communities and local actors, Fight against poverty...).
ATED is made up of committed citizens, has a clear vision of its mission, carries out important projects with its partners and is managed in a transparent and democratic way in accordance with international standards for internal governance of non-profit organisations.
The Association is accredited by several international organisations and is a member of several national, regional and international networks.
