Atelier Chony is an architectural and landscape architecture practice as well as a research hub where the arts—regardless of their domain—can come together to conceive ideas, projects, or thoughts that enrich the creative process. The studio seeks to break free from the concepts of immediacy, one-size-fits-all solutions, and fast architecture. Envisioned as an architectural residency, Atelier Chony places its primary focus on expressing the culture and heritage of each project, thoroughly studying and respecting the place it inhabits. Every research journey is inexhaustible and continuously nourished by daily life, rooted in its specific time, unique place, and language. The genius loci is not merely a matter of materiality and pragmatism; it is also about the cultural and conceptual connection of a project to its place and context.
