Atelier dais

Atelier dais, founded in 2021, is led by Bassem Abdel Shahid. Bassem, of French-Egyptian origins, graduated from the Welsh School of Architecture in the United Kingdom. Rooted in a dual culture, European and Egyptian, he started his career at Farrells in London, then at Ramy Fischler in Paris, and later at SAM architecture where he initiated and co-managed the project 'La Maison d’Egypte’ in collaboration with Waleed Arafa, founder of Dar Arafa Architecture. Atelier dais currently takes on construction and interior design projects in the private housing sector. It intervenes in all project phases, from conception to monitoring construction works until project delivery. - Atelier dais, fondé en 2021 à Paris, est dirigé par Bassem Abdel Shahid. D’origine franco-égyptienne, Bassem est diplômé de la ‘Welsh School of Architecture’ au Royaume-Uni. Attaché à une double culture, européenne et égyptienne, il fait ses armes chez Farrells à Londres, chez Ramy Fischler à Paris, et puis chez SAM architecture où il a initié et co-géré le projet ‘La Maison d’Egypte’ en collaboration avec Waleed Arafa, fondateur de Dar Arafa Architecture. Atelier dais intervient aujourd’hui sur des projets de construction, de réaménagement d’intérieur des logements pour des particuliers. Il prend en charge les missions complètes de la phase conception jusqu’à la réception des travaux.
