The Double Diagnosis combines a learning ability problem, intellectual disability and a mental health and/or developmental problem. These are therefore heavy and complex problems, often characterized by self-induced and/or hetero-aggressive outbursts.
It is necessary first to understand the problems of these people by meeting them with their families and their network and then to think about and propose a pedagogical and therapeutic approach that aims not only to appease them but also gradually to accompany their process of knowledge construction, through therapeutic workshops.
The therapeutic workshops that we offer have a function of initiation to a fundamental and intimate change in the subject, freeing him from his anxieties, his excesses which are often the consequences. It is a work of observation, often of small details, of adjustment and tuning to the environment, respecting the rhythm and the psychological time necessary for each person concerned.
