The NAV conference, organized by “Associazione Italiana di Tecnica Navale”, is the major Italian scientific event on maritime technology issues. The last edition was held in Genoa in 2022 and now we are announcing the new edition. The NAV 2025 conference will take place in three days, covering the whole spectrum of maritime technology themes, with particular attention to new methods for the use of the sea as a source of energy and resources. About 200 papers are expected which will be presented in parallel sessions and in conjunction with workshops addressing specific topics. The NAV 2025 conference will be held in Messina with the aim of promoting the dialogue among academia, professionals, and industry involved in research, development, and enhancement of shipbuilding sector. For this purpose, a Committee of Honor with the personalities of excellence of the international maritime cluster will be set up, giving them the role of “ambassadors” of the conference.
An international scientific Committee, representative of international academic and cultural institutions, will review the abstracts and full-length papers assuring the scientific quality of the conference. Professor Vincenzo Crupi (University of Messina) has been engaged to chair the NAV 2025 Conference Scientific Committee. The full-length paper (max 10 pages) will be included in the conference proceedings and indexed by SCOPUS as conference series in Progress in Marine Science and Technology.
