TOFOLA project is under the Interreg Italia-Croazia 2021-2027 program. The initiative falls under Priority Axis 4: Sustainable and Cultural Tourism, focusing on the specific objective of 4.1: Strengthening the role of culture and sustainable tourism for economic development, inclusion, and social innovation. TOFOLA enhances Northern Adriatic tourism by using the history of Venetian shipbuilding to diversify tourism and offer sustainable products. It fosters inclusivity, spurs local economic growth, encourages cross-border collaboration, and preserves cultural heritage while highlighting less exploited destinations.
