Your Performance. Your ID. Athlete-ID is here to maximise your athletic potential! Founded by four Belgian masters in Sport Training and Coaching (University of Ghent), all active as coaches on elite level, the mission of Athlete-ID is to lower the threshold for sports clubs to implement holistic guidance with regard to physical performance. Athlete-ID is making this possible through customised collaborations with sports clubs and federations, thereby assessing the needs in consultation with the club members and considering the financial capacity of the club. Through the academic background of its members, Athlete-ID is offering innovative and scientific verified ways to use physical and medical testing for your athletes. Generated data is made available on a platform, so both the club and the athlete can follow-up his progression. 'Collecting data is cool, but what is the purpose of it?'. A question Athlete-ID is often confronted with. Our team is going the extra mile in this regard: next to the testing, we support clubs and their athletes to make sense of the data, to use them in an efficient manner so it can be applied in training sessions and to follow-up the player towards his best self. This through benchmarking, SWOT-analyses, detecting 'red flags' with regard to muscle imbalances and biological age/maturity. We focus on sustainable collaborations with clubs in order to improve the quality of youth development for athletes all over the country. Next to this, Athlete-ID offers on-field lactate tests to help postformation teams and first teams to be in optimal condition for the start of the competition. Thanks to these tests, our team can define the right training zones for athletes/team sporters with position- or profile specific needs. In consultation with the coaching staff, individual schemes and a physical periodisation can be drawn up.
