The Athlete Leaders Network (ALN) is a newly formed network for athletes led by athletes. The ALN is a stand-alone platform with initial start up support until it's eventual framework and structure is decided by its appointed athletes and Board. The ALN is a result of the need for a sector wide independent athlete voice mechanism across high performance sport in New Zealand. Currently the network has athletes involved across Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth member federations.
