Atlanta Community Support Project

Atlanta Community Support Project company information, Employees & Contact Information

Atlanta Community Support Project (ACSP) is an empowerment organization for people impacted by poverty and incarceration. At our core, we are a team of FIPs researching and resourcing as a means of bolstering individual and collective action to end mass criminalization. ACSP believes in the right to access the courts directly, seek redress for rights infringements, and hold the public servants who represent us accountable, whether or not we can vote them out of office. Our network includes people incarcerated in Georgia, those who were previously incarcerated, family members, sister FIP-led organizations, pro bono partners, and others willing to collaborate for the shared goal of a world without prisons. Some of our current work includes an ambitious Georgia homicide research project, creating a Georgia Family Law Toolkit with a working group of directly-impacted advocates and lawyers, publishing the Atlantian Revival with journalists at USP Atlanta, disseminating The Freedom Reader (a legal and policy newsletter) to our mailing list of over 1,000 members incarcerated in Georgia, working toward data privacy protection equity, and building an ACSP pro bono network of private attorneys who care about helping us push for racial justice in the Deep South.
