Atlantic Canada Climate Network

The Atlantic Canada Climate Network was formed to unite leading local individuals & organisations working on Provincial & Municipal climate initiatives to grow our voice & influence more effective climate action. By unifying initiatives, we build greater support, networks, efficiency and success for climate action projects. Our goal is to create harmony in the Atlantic Green Choir and allow for better collaboration and transparency with the reduction of duplicative efforts. Addressing climate change is increasingly important to the health and well-being of our community and planet. Over time, we have noticed different organizations experience the same needs, barriers, successes, and more. Without a convenient, ongoing communication channel between climate champions, we risk reinventing the wheel for each climate initiative. This is a slower process and uses duplicate resources to achieve similar outcomes. With a convenient, ongoing channel of communication, we have an opportunity to share knowledge, collaborate meaningfully, and build upon our existing work to propel us forward into a net-zero future.
