History
In 1980 a club called FC Norssi started to play in Division VIII in the Helsinki district. Step by step the club climbed up until in the autumn of 1995 it managed to reach the second division (Kakkonen). At the same time, the most talented players and background forces of another club called Johanneksen Dynamo with the lead of well-known musician Gösta Sundqvist joined FC Norssi. In the process, the club got a new name ATLANTIS FC. From that point on the target was to build up a successful team and club with united forces.
Atlantis Football Club is a Helsinki-based Semi-Professional Club playing in the third tier of Finnish Football (Ykkönen).
Atlantis' first home game is set for Friday, 12th of April 2024 at 19:00 at Algeco Areena in Pihlajamäki, Helsinki.
