Atlas for Land Reclamation and Agricultural Industry- an Egyptian joint stock company, founded in 1997, is subject to the number eight Guarantees and Investment Incentives law for the year 1997, with taking into consideration the ninety five capital market law for the year 1992. Atlas is registered to the commercial record numbered 60280 located in the Business Investments Records Office, Cairo Government. Atlas is also registered to the Egyptian Exchange Atlas’ authorized capital investment is worth a 100,000,000 Egyptian Pounds(EGP). As for the issued and paid-up capital, its worth 59270760 Egyptian Pounds(EGP) . Atlas’ Core Activity : -Reclamation and farming of fallow land and deserts. -Animal, Poultry and Fish production. -Purchase of fallow lands and deserts, reclaiming them, farming them and equipping them with the required facilities to be functional. Lands are then irrigated using the modern irrigation methods, with taking into consideration the Prime Minister’s decree numbered 350 for the year 2007. Also,the President’s decree numbered 365 for the year 2008 to oblige the company to get all licences needed to conduct it’s operations.
