In 2016, ATLAS Group and HENSOLDT Optronics GmbH established Atlas Optronics JV. The Joint Venture was officially announced in February 2019 during the International Defense Exhibition (IDEX) and Conference. At this event, they also unveiled the capabilities of the Optronics Centre of Excellence, which encompasses Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services. This strategic initiative enables HENSOLDT, a renowned German sensor manufacturer, to fulfil the offset obligations set by the United Arab Emirates Offset Authority Tawazun Economic Council (TEC) in relation to the sale of NightOwl cameras, spotting scopes, and night vision equipment to the UAE. Optoelectronic technologies play a pivotal role in enhancing our surveillance capabilities, enabling us to provide high-definition imaging, real-time monitoring, and intelligent data analysis. These innovations empower law enforcement and security agencies to respond swiftly to emerging threats, ensuring the safety and security of our communities.
