Atomic Mechanics Ltd is a new spin-out business of the University of Manchester. It has been created to develop, manufacture and sell a completely new range of highly sensitive, ultra-robust pressure sensors, transparent, flexible, variable-pressure touch interfaces and actuation devices. These innovative products are built around a patented core technology which uses single layer graphene and 2D materials films supported by a thin flexible polymeric membrane. The new products will have significant competitive advantage over existing technologies and bring enormous benefits to customers in a wide variety of global markets.
