This work is grounded in a "landscapes, livelihoods, and leadership" approach: place-based, community-centered, and led by a new generation of environmental leaders. ATREE USA is also working to rethink sustainability education in the U.S., drawing on India-grown approaches that integrate Indigenous knowledge, interdisciplinary research, and civic action.
