We are a Portland-based design studio, founded by Emily Knudsen and Chelsie Lee, long-time friends and collaborators. We work on buildings and spaces of all kinds but have a particular interest and experience renovating historic homes. With each project, we form a narrative unique to the site, the building, and the people who inhabit the spaces that guides our decisions. We navigate the inherent challenges of a construction project with originative design thinking and patient project management. Our clients share our love of craft, history, and thoughtfulness. We relish in solving the functional parts of a project and finding opportunities for playfulness.
