Attendance Point

Attendance Point is a small startup local to Charleston, South Carolina. The company was founded in 2018 and is focused on improving the attendance records and participation of students in grades K-12. Statistically, students who have better attendance records during school are more likely to receive superior opportunities in their lives than those the latter. Attendance Point is the first web app that rewards student and their parents for attending school on a regular basis. Students and their parents accrue points for every day they’re marked present in school, these points accrue over time and can be exchanged for merchant coupons, discounts, and other offers in Attendance Point’s own Marketplace. Our mission is to reward students for showing up, reinforcing the ideology of “hard work pays off” and incentivizing students to be present not only in school but life as well.
