Welcome to Slate — the innovative app for peer-to-peer real-money wagering on skill-based games and events, launching Summer 2025. Slate lets you challenge friends to friendly wagers, just like Venmo simplifies payments. Here’s how it works: sign up, deposit funds, and create contests with details like the event and wager amount. Send them to friends, who can accept, decline, or counteroffer. Once the event ends, both parties report the outcome. If there’s a disagreement, a neutral third-party Slate reviewer helps resolve it. Slate features a social feed to view and engage with friends’ wagers, a contest manager to track all your action, and an explore tab for inspiration and tips. Control your profile, wallet, and stats in the account section. You can make bets public, friends-only, or private—and connect with others through messaging and shared contests.
