ATTRACT is a Clinical Research Group dedicated to improving therapy for glioblastoma, the most aggressive brain tumor in adults.
Central to the project is a prospective clinical trial testing 28 drugs on patient-derived tumor cells to guide functional precision oncology - with the goal of offering tailored therapies and improving survival.
ATTRACT is supported by the Ludwig Boltzmann Society and the participating institutions in Austria and aims to gain profound biological and medical insights into glioblastoma. Collection of various biological samples (tumor tissue, blood, stool) at the time of diagnosis allows a comprehensive translational research program. Thereby, scientific knowledge from the laboratory will be combined with clinical application.
