ATZ, S. A. was founded in 1990 with the initial objective of manufacturing high quality tubular latches due to the increasing demand for this type of product, especially by the North American Market.
In the earlier years, ATZ started with a yearly production of 40.000 latches, reaching a peak in 2002 of over 2 million.
Since then, ATZ has been a company in constant growth, certified by the ISO 9001, manufacturing not only tubular latches, but also dedicating its production to the conception and design of high quality locks that include award winning innovative functions.
In 2003 the company initiated the conception and design of a new product line in stainless steel 304, composed of Entry sets, Interior sets (Door Levers), Door Pulls and cabinet Pulls – increasing the product offer to meet the demands of the European Market and other markets.
In 2005 ATZ enriches once again its Stainless steel product line with the conception and manufacture of a new line of Curtain Hangers and Standing towel racks.
In 2006, the ATZ enters the market with a whole new line of Bathroom Accessories Brass with new finish Nickel Palladium (PALLADEX ™.) In 2006, ATZ introduces in the market a complete line of Bathroom Accessories in brass - with a brand new finish: Nickel Palladium (PALLADEX ™).
Nowadays ATZ exports 94% of its business volume.
