Aarhus University's Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering is an international research and education environment with a strong focus on the green transition and digitalisation of the construction sector. Through our interdisciplinary collaboration with business and industry, we develop and realise new knowledge and new technical solutions for the sector that will benefit society and sustainable development efforts. We develop technology and knowledge at the intersection of classical science and engineering. Our research, education and development activities focus on sustainable design, building construction, recycling, material design, energy, regenerative construction and health for the entire construction lifecycle.
