Auburn Corporation was founded in 1914, in Chicago's Auburn Gresham neighborhood. Starting as a small shop of Swedish immigrants, we initially manufactured wood screens and sash for windows, doors and porches. Using a storefront location on Racine Avenue to sell its products to surrounding neighborhood homes and businesses, Auburn Screen Company became well-known within Chicagoland. The introduction of aluminum replacement windows in the 1960s and abuilding catastrophe, shifted Auburns primary focus from manufacturing for local residences to commercial installation of windows and doors in buildings around the city. Today, Auburn Corporation is one of the leading window and door companies in Chicago. Extending its services throughout Illinois and parts of Indiana, it has executed thousands of successful residential and commercial window and door installation, replacement and repair jobs. Auburn puts emphasis on quality, employing and contracting with only the most skilled and experienced designers and installers.
