The Audio Preservation Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to preserve the music and sound recordings comprising the aural history of our world by expanding sound recording collections in public archives, libraries, museums, universities and research centers.
We provide free services to the archives preserving sound collections, as well as to individuals and businesses looking to donate their collections for preservation. The services we provide include finding, transporting, documenting, and then donating sound recordings to the archives. Recordings we donate are used for exhibits, education and research. We are transitioning recordings from a private setting to a public one, so that you and many others can access and enjoy them.
