AUGMENT3D LAB

At the University of Parma, our laboratory offers a cutting-edge environment designed to support advanced research, innovation, and educational activities in immersive technologies and digital fabrication. Our lab is equipped with a high-tech virtual reality room that features a stereoscopic projector and active shutter glasses, enabling fully immersive 3D visualizations. In addition to our immersive VR infrastructure, the laboratory provides access to state-of-the-art SLA 3D printers, capable of producing highly detailed and accurate physical models. These printers support a wide range of materials, making them suitable for prototyping, engineering development, biomedical applications, and custom part fabrication. Our team supports the full workflow from digital modeling to physical realization, offering technical guidance and training for students, researchers, and collaborators.
