August Actuarial Consulting (AAC) was established in September 2021 to support life insurance companies’ AXIS modeling, valuation, and process automation needs.
We have supported virtually every U.S.-based AXIS client since 2006 as part of GGYAXIS Inc., Moody’s Analytics, independent consultants and AAC. No other consultancy knows AXIS better than AAC.
Our team consists of former GGYAXIS and Moody’s Analytics actuaries with over 70 years of combined experience supporting AXIS clients, which includes:
- AXIS model implementation, validation, consolidation, and ongoing maintenance
- Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. regulatory and accounting requirements for virtually all life, annuity and health insurance products
- AXIS model review to optimize model performance and automation
- Development and communication of AXIS best practice recommendations
- Managing the AXIS enhancement process - drafting specifications, testing, documenting, and training for new AXIS features
