A social venture that provides affordable technology (AT) for people with disabilities in developing countries to improve their autonomy on daily tasks. People with disabilities depend on AT to participate in society and overcome daily challenges, yet the cost of these products is prohibitive for millions of people. Auire provides affordable AT products that are designed in partnership with future users, developed globally and produced locally. For best accessibility, they are distributed through a direct online store, for-profit resellers and non-profit organizations. Our first product is a low cost color and money identifier for blind people.
