Adelaide University Motorsport Team

The Adelaide University Motorsport Team (AUMT) is a student operated team which competes in the global Formula SAE (FSAE) competition. The FSAE competition sees University students design, manufacture, test and race an open wheel, formula style race car. The team was founded in 2001 as a final year undergraduate project, becoming extra-curricular in 2010. Membership is open to students of all year levels and disciplines, enabling a greater knowledge transfer between experienced and newer members. AUMT now consists of students from a wide range of educational and cultural backgrounds, and many different disciplines, including engineering, business, law, and media. The multi-disciplinary nature of this project allows students to work and learn in a diverse team environment, closely mirroring what is likely to be experienced in industry.
