Aupec is a well established UK based company originally founded as a petroleum economics consultancy by world renowned Aberdeen University Professor Alex Kemp. Aupec emerged from academia to become the internationally recognised petroleum economics and benchmarking authority that it is today, commercialising but never abandoning its academic rigour and passion for client focused service delivery. Aupec’s benchmarking journey began with North Sea operators in the 1980s, analysing their IT spend and resourcing across their businesses. Over the last 30 years we have partnered with the world’s largest energy companies to develop a deep understanding of benchmarking, which has resulted in our software being adopted by the industry as a tool to measure business complexity and enhance performance in critical areas.
