The Aureon Energy mission is to commercialize patents and trade secrets developed through extensive research and experimentation under the SAFIRE Project. We are currently focused on developing the next version of our Elemental Transmutation Reactor (ETR)—a medium-energy plasma system designed to transmute radioactive isotopes commonly found in spent nuclear fuel (SNF) and other long-lived waste streams. Our goal is bold but simple: remediate radioactivity, not just contain it. By converting hazardous isotopes into stable or short-lived elements, we offer a potential breakthrough in nuclear waste management—one that reduces long-term liability, repository demand, and radiotoxicity. The ETR platform is being engineered to allow modular deployment, parallel throughput, and heat recovery, creating future pathways for safe and efficient use in remote, defense, or field-based applications. Aureon operates at the intersection of nuclear science, plasma physics, and advanced manufacturing, and is targeting customers across the Defense and Energy sectors in both the U.S. and Canada.
